here is my take on a dirt hole set targeting raccoon or grey fox. a few things i forgot to mention in the video. you will want you trap pan slightly lower than the ground around it. to help with this i like to make my dirt hole in a small slope or angle above the trap when ever possible. raccoons and grey fox have shorter legs than red fox or coyote so the trap can be placed close to the hole. The set came out well but the soil was very wet from rain all the day before and clumped up when i tried to cover the trap.
