The cars straight and solid body is covered in a deep, highly polished coat of GM code A Starlight Black paint that is so fresh you'll swear you smell wet paint as soon as you're within five feet of its glistening panels. Under that paint, straight and tight panel gaps, which are consistent throughout the car, indicate that this GTO was a solid piece even before the restoration began; and, as we all know, with a color like Starlight Black you simply can't hide misalignments of imperfections.
